The Blaze wordmark carries a humanistic quality
reminiscent of handcrafted glass sculptures. Through
subtle modifications and emphasized details within
the typeface, I sought to capture the artistry of

Final Thoughts
Blaze magazine draws inspiration from the iconic works of Dale Chihuly
and Ginny Ruffner, two defining voices in the world of glass art. Their fluid,
luminous creations served as the foundation for the organic, three-dimensional
typography that moves dynamically throughout the magazine's pages. The
layout strikes a deliberate balance between structured geometric elements
and the free-flowing nature of molten glass, guiding readers through each
spread with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
